Vivo has confirmed that its V80 is all set to debut in India soon. The company has teased the successor of the Vivo V70. As of now, Vivo has not revealed the launch date for this flagship. Vivo 80 Expected Launch Timeline And Specifications
Vivo has teased its upcoming V80 in India. The company took to its official X account and showcased the backside of the upcoming flagship in an orange colour. While the company has not revealed the launch date of Vivo V80, it is expected to be launched in India in the first week of October, as per many leaks circulating online.
The Vivo V80 could come with a powerful camera just like its predecessor. As per the landing page of the company website for Vivo V80, this smartphone will be offered with the Zeiss branding and is expected to house a triple back camera setup. It may include a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP telephoto shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the device could feature a 50MP sensor.
This flagship is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which could offer smoother scrolling and animations. The panel is also rumoured to support HDR+ and deliver up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness.
For performance, Vivo may equip the smartphone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with an Adreno 722 GPU. The device could be offered with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage.
On the battery front, the Vivo V80 is expected to feature a large 7,200mAh battery. The phone could also support fast charging, along with reverse charging capabilities. For software, the device is tipped to run Vivo’s OriginOS 7, which is expected to be based on Android 17.
The Vivo V80 is reportedly being positioned in the premium segment, with its starting price expected to be around Rs 55,000 in India. It is important to note that the information must be taken with a pinch of salt until Vivo confirms the exact details at the launch.
