Google has launched AI-powered marketing tool Pomelli in India. The AI tool is specifically designed to help small and medium-sized businesses create professional on-brand marketing campaigns without hiring agencies, designers or photographers. Developed by Google Labs with Google DeepMind, Pomelli can create brand content quickly and at low cost which could hit the advertising industry.
“We’re excited to announce that Pomelli by @GoogleLabs has just launched in India. Pomelli is an AI marketing tool that helps small businesses create scalable, on-brand content to elevate their marketing,” the US-based tech giant wrote on X.
Pomelli has also introduced a new feature called Photoshoot, which uses business context and Nano Banana image generation to turn product images into a professional-grade studio shot.
“Whether you’re selling handmade jewelry, artisanal coffee or promoting a yoga studio, high-quality visuals are essential for building trust with customers. With Photoshoot, you can generate stunning product images for your website and social content,” Google wrote in a blogpost.
How It Works
Pomelli works by analysing a company’s website or product links to understand its visual identity, tone and branding. Once a business enters its website URL, the tool builds what Google calls a ‘Business DNA’ — a profile that captures colours, fonts, style and brand voice. This allows Pomelli to automatically generate marketing creatives that stay consistent with the brand across social media posts, banners, product ads and more.
How To Use
– Open Pomelli. Next, enter your website URL and the AI tool will identify your unique business identity to build on-brand campaigns for your business
– Add motion to any campaign with our ‘Animate’’ feature powered by Veo 3.1
– Finally, with ‘Photoshoot’ you can easily turn a single image of your product into custom, stylised product shots.
“We automatically apply your business’ aesthetics to generate professional-looking images that feel on brand. All images can be downloaded or added to your Business DNA to use later, like when you’re creating a campaign,” the company said.
