New Delhi: Hundreds of users according to website tracking portal Downdetector have reported issues with X, formerly Twitter on Friday. The majority of issues that have been reported relates to feed timeline, server connection and App. This is the second time in 24 hours when the micro-blogging platform faced an outage.
The outage first erupted around 6:47 PM on Friday evening with over 150 reported issues and surged to over 250 reports around 8 PM.
Around 38 percent of the users reported issues with feed updates, 35 percent with server applications, and 28 percent while accessing the app.
Which Cities Have Reported Maximum Issues With X
The majority of issues were reported from Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Kolkata, Cuttack, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolhapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore.
However, there is no official statement from X on the reported outage on Friday.
X is a microblog that allows users to publish shorter, less text messages. Users can post their tweets (short messages) across multiple devices and platforms.The microblogging site is compatible with devices such as iPhone, Android, Blackberry, or Windows Phone devices and traditional computers.

According to Downdetector, the detection of cities where users are facing issues with a particular application or site is derived from a heat map.
The heat map shows where user-submitted problem reports are concentrated over the past 24 hours. However, itis common for some problems to be reported throughout the day.

Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day.
Second Outage in 24-Hours
Today’s outage is the second time in almost 24 hours when users have reported functionality issues with X or Twitter. A similar outage was reported on Thursday evening as well.
