The 20th anniversary Apple iPhone is more than a year away from its launch. And with the iPhone 18 series lineup occupying all the space in leaks and rumours, the iPhone 20 Pro Max has sneaked in. According to the leaks shared by Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, Apple is internally testing a larger panel for the phone. Furthermore, the larger display could be dubbed to be a single thing out of all things that Apple is planning to bring on its 20th anniversary.
Leaks and rumours related to the device have also revealed that it could pack an edge-to-edge display with curved glass on all four sides. Apart from that, a Bloomberg report in the past already claimed that Apple has stepped up the development of two versions of its anniversary iPhone. Tipster Digital Chat Station also said, ‘An exclusive and forward-looking information shows that Apple is proofing a super-large screen with a physical size of 6.96 inches and a standard size of 7 inches.’
What Else Is Coming Our Way?
Apple is also setting up the stage to launch its first ever foldable smartphone in the global market, dubbed iPhone Ultra. If we go by the latest leaks, the Apple iPhone Ultra may bring a 7.8-inch foldable OLED panel and a 5.5-inch outer panel, both carrying at least a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. Rumours have it that the device will be powered by the Apple A20 Pro chipset, which seems like a positive rumour, as in a phone that is already being considered a flagship, Apple is not going to give the base processor. Furthermore, the device may also pack 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and Apple’s homemade C2 modem for enhanced connectivity. All other details related to the device are still under wraps.
