Elon Musk’s SpaceXAI and Cursor have brought the Grok Beta version to the table in a recent update. The new AI agent by SpaceXAI has been designed to manage tasks on apps and websites rather than just answering questions.
Both Cursor and SpaceXAI describe it as an ‘AI teammate’ that can accomplish tasks independently and return when human approval is mandatory. Grok Bot provides AI agents with its own computer in the cloud, letting it sign into tools and services used by the user. The crux here is that the agents can work on inboxes, business applications, websites, and more.
As per the information shared by Musk’s SpaceXAI, Bots can manage multi-step tasks like updating customer records, processing invoices, and even working on software bugs.
The agent can also use tools, follow a sequence of steps, and recover from errors rather than stopping after a failed move. Users can also run multiple bots at the same time as the firm says its teams are using separate agents for niches like recruiting, operations, sales, and engineering. Furthermore, bots can also exchange information and hand work between themselves as per the requirement.
Apart from that, the Bot also has a feature that lets the users see how a bot got done with a task. The agent can remember the workflow and then use it again later in order to minimise the requirement of repeating the same instructions.
As of now, the Grok Bot is available in the beta version on SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Teams Premium, and Cursor Ultra on desktop and iOS. Enterprise customers can join the waitlist for the access of the bot. As of now, the Android support is listed as ‘coming soon.’ Until now, there has been no confirmation regarding the launch of the stable version of Bots. Speculations are that if the beta tests are smooth, then we will get to see the stable version in a month or so.
