The biggest bonanza of the year has been teased ahead of the festive season. Flipkart has confirmed that its Big Billion Days Sale 2026 will begin from October 9, 2026. The Walmart-owned company revealed that customers can grab a 10 per cent instant discount on various products using the Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards. Customers waiting for the sale can get discounts across home appliances, electronics, smartphones and other products.
Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale 2026: Early Access
Flipkart Plus and Black members will get an early start to the sale. The company has confirmed that early access will begin on October 8 for eligible Plus, Black and Flipkart credit card members. Notably, the 2026 Big Billion Days sale could be particularly interesting for Apple buyers. The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro series may see a different discount strategy this year.
Usually, retailers reduce prices on older iPhone models after Apple launches their successors. However, Apple’s 2026 lineup does not include a standard iPhone 18 model alongside the new Pro models. The company has introduced the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and its first foldable iPhone.
As a result, retailers could take a different approach to pricing the iPhone 17 lineup during the festive sale. The actual discounts, however, will only become clear when Flipkart announces its product-specific deals.
What Happened During Big Billion Days 2025?
Last year, Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale started on September 23, while Plus and Black members received early access 24 hours before the main sale. The event featured offers on smartphones from brands such as Apple, Samsung and Motorola. Customers could also find deals on laptops, PCs, televisions and other electronics.
Flipkart also ran limited-time offers and special deals aimed at shoppers looking for quick discounts during the festive season. Axis Bank and ICICI Bank customers were offered a 10 per cent instant discount on selected products during the 2025 event. Plus and Black members also received additional benefits, including better bank offers during early access and extra SuperCoins rewards.
With the Big Billion Days Sale 2026 scheduled to begin on October 9, Flipkart is expected to announce more product deals, discounts and membership benefits in the coming weeks.
