Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 Specifications (Expected)
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to come with a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch inner folding screen. Leaks suggest the phone may feature nearly invisible crease technology on its OLED panel. For photography, the South Korean tech giant could offer: 200MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Under the hood, the foldable is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device is also likely to house a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide may be Samsung’s answer to users who want a more tablet-like foldable. It is rumoured to sport a 7.6-inch inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, which could reduce black bars while watching videos and improve multitasking. The outer display may measure 5.4 inches, but it is said to be wider and shorter than previous Fold models. Leaks suggest the device may be as thin as 4.3mm unfolded and 9.8mm folded. Samsung is reportedly using dual UTG or laser-drilled metal plate technology to reduce the crease by around 20 percent. The phone may run on the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and pack up to a 5000 mAh battery.
