Vivo S2 India Launch Date, Price, Specifications And Colors Leaked Ahead Of Launch: What To Expect

The Vivo S series is going to make a comeback in India after a long break. While the Chinese smartphone maker is yet to officially announce the Vivo S2, fresh leaks have revealed almost everything from its expected launch date to storage variants, colour options and key hardware. Vivo S2 Launch Date, Colour Options And Price (Expected)
As per tipster Abhishek Yadav, who shared the details on X, the Vivo S2 is expected to launch in India on August 6, while sales could begin from August 11. The leak suggests customers may get two storage options: 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB. The phone is also rumoured to launch in Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze and Silk White colour options.
Another interesting detail comes from alleged internal retail listings shared by the tipster. They reportedly mention demo units priced at Rs. 38,000 and Rs. 42,000, while another entry lists the 8GB + 128GB variant at Rs. 43,000. These are believed to be internal reference prices rather than the final retail price, so the actual launch pricing could be different.
Separately, leaked promotional material suggests the handset will feature a pill-shaped horizontal rear camera module, giving it a design that’s pretty similar to the recently launched Vivo X300 FE.
Vivo S2 Specifications And Features (Expected)
The Vivo S2 is is likely to house a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset could be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and offer a 7000 mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging, along with wireless and reverse wireless charging.
On the camera front, the smartphone is rumoured to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
