Samsung is likely to launch its Galaxy S27 Ultra during its annual Galaxy Unpacked event in February 2027. This smartphone may debut alongside the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Plus. While Samsung has not officially revealed any details about the device, various leaks have emerged online offering what consumers may expect from the flagship.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Expected Specifications
This smartphone is expected to debut with a 6.9-inch AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. In terms of the processor, this smartphone is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm’s anticipated Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the chip could be built on a 2nm process and may achieve clock speeds close to 5GHz or higher.
Samsung is likely to launch the device with a new 200MP primary camera based on its ISOCELL sensor, according to the Phone Arena. Moreover, the device may get a 50MP ultra-wide sensor along with a 50 MP telephoto camera and a 10MP camera with 3x optical zoom. At the front, it may boast a 12MP selfie camera.
In terms of the design changes, it is believed that the company is unlikely to introduce a major design change. Reports suggest that the device may become lighter while maintaining the same 7.9mm thickness. The smartphone maker is also expected to retain the S-Pen.
Battery upgrades could be another major highlight. Leaks suggest Samsung may use silicon-carbon battery technology, allowing the phone to pack up to 7,000mAh capacity without increasing its size. Some reports, however, claim the battery could be 6,000mAh. Charging speeds are expected to reach 65W wired and 15W wireless.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Expected Pricing
In India, this smartphone could debut at a starting price between Rs 1,39,999 and Rs 1,45,990 for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is noteworthy that the above information is based on leaks and must be taken with a pinch of salt.
