Eternal founder Deepinder Goyal has finally announced when people will be able to order his Temple wearable. The first batch of the device, called Temple Batch 01, will be available for pre-orders from November 1. However, buyers will have to wait for their device as each unit will be handmade to order.
Taking to X, the Eternal founder wrote, “The wait is over. Temple Batch 01 pre orders open November 1.”
He also confirmed that every Temple device will be handmade after an order is placed and delivered within three months of purchase. The health-tech device will be available in six launch-edition colours, including True Gold, Rose Gold, Black Mirror, Real Jade, Deep Blue and Purple Funk.
The announcement gives interested buyers a date to look forward to, but some important details are still awaited. The company has not officially announced the price of the wearable or how many units will be available in the first batch.
What Is Deepinder Goyal’s Temple Wearable?
Temple is a wearable device designed to sit on the side of the head, near the temple. Unlike regular smartwatches and fitness bands that track metrics such as heart rate, steps and sleep, the device focuses on monitoring changes related to blood flow to the brain.
The device uses optical sensors to track changes in cerebral blood flow, a measurement that Goyal’s team calls BrainFlow. It also generates an Entropy score intended to indicate physiological strain linked to factors such as rest, exercise and stress.
The idea is to help users understand how their body responds to different activities and conditions. However, these measurements should not be treated as a medical diagnosis.
Temple Price And Availability
While the pre-order date is now confirmed, the official price remains unknown. Reports have mentioned a possible price of around Rs 1,00,000 lakh, but buyers should wait for the company to confirm the final price before making a decision. For now, November 1 is the date to watch for anyone interested in buying the device.
