After MacBooks and iPads, Apple Hits Users With Higher Music and One Subscription Costs

Apple has been aggressively increasing the prices of its hardware, and now it has come to their app subscriptions as well. Now, the Cupertino giant has increased the prices of Apple Music subscriptions in India and Apple One plans as well. A lot of individuals will be required to pay more for the individual plans, Family plans, and even the Student memberships. Apple says that the prices have been increased due to rising music listening costs. The price hike is not limited to India, and Apple has also rolled out the new subscription prices across the United states, Europe, and the United Kingdom, along with other markets as well. The prices of the same are already in effect.
Apple Music subscribers are going to be a little heartbroken because the individual plan now costs Rs 139 instead of Rs 119 per month. The Family plan has jumped from Rs 179 per month to Rs 229 per month. Last but not least, the Student plan, which was available for Rs 59, is now available for Rs 69 per month. And yes, Apple has not offered any type of benefits for the masses in any of the mentioned plans.
As for the older benefits, the Individual plan offers Apple’s catalogue of more than 100 million songs. Subscribers get ad-free listening, Spatial Audio, offline downloads, curated playlists, Lossless Audio, Apple Music Classical, and support for multiple devices like Android phones, Windows PCs, Mac, iPad, and iPhone. As for the family plan, it brings all the benefits of individual plans along with access to six family members via Apple Music through Family Sharing. Each member of the plan will get personalised recommendations, a music library, and even playlists. The student plan is only available for those who have verified ID and proof of being university students. It brings all the features of the individual plan along with Apple TV+ at no additional costs.
