Motorola Edge 70 Max India Launch Nears: Design, Colours And Specs Leaked

Motorola is preparing to launch its next Edge 70 series smartphone in India with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Max. The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker has now teased the upcoming handset by putting up a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, hinting that the launch is just around the corner. While Motorola has not revealed the complete specifications yet, the teaser, combined with recently leaked marketing material, gives us a fair idea of what to expect. Here’s everything you need to know about the Motorola Edge 70 Max ahead of its India debut.
Motorola Edge 70 Max India Launch Confirmed
Motorola has confirmed that a new Edge series smartphone is on its way to India through a dedicated Flipkart microsite. Although the landing page doesn’t explicitly mention the phone’s name, the URL indicates that it is indeed the Motorola Edge 70 Max.
The teaser also offers an early look at the handset’s design. Unlike the curved displays seen on some premium Edge models, the upcoming phone appears to feature a flat display and a flat rear panel. On the back, it sports a square-shaped camera island housing three camera sensors along with an LED flash.
The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge, while the left side appears to feature an additional hardware button. Although Motorola hasn’t confirmed its purpose, it could serve as the dedicated Moto AI Key found on some recent devices.
The company has also teased a 46 percent improvement in NPU performance for AI-related tasks. In addition, Motorola has confirmed support for wireless charging, making the Edge 70 Max only the second handset in the current Edge 70 family to offer the feature after the Edge 70 Pro+.
Motorola Edge 70 Max Specifications And Features (Expected)
While Motorola is keeping most details under wraps for now, recently leaked marketing material has revealed several expected specifications. According to the leak, the Motorola Edge 70 Max could arrive in Glacier Blue, Onyx Black and Sage Green colour options. The smartphone is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The rear camera setup is expected to include a triple-camera system, featuring a primary sensor, a telephoto camera and an ultrawide lens. Motorola is expected to reveal more details about the phone, including its launch date, pricing and full specifications, over the coming days.
